UXUI Designer

Grooters in-house development team delivers and maintains customized apps, platforms and websites that are consumed by millions of unique users across the globe. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to Create Intuitive User Experiences, Establish Art Direction, and Design User Experiences for a variety of well-established and emerging brands.This position plays a pivotal role in cultivating our companys reputation as well as those of our clients. The best person for this job must be passionate about creating apps and sites that delight, engage, and retain users. They will strive for excellence in the details and the whole while collaborating with others - creatives, developers, and cross-functional team members.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with internal and external teams, designers, brand manager to conceive and, and create tailored experiences for a variety of interactive experiences;Conceive of UX strategies for interoperational sites and apps;Prepare and present UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, and prototypes;Art Direct and design responsive web and app-based user interfaces, including selecting, refining or creating media assets;Adhere to, and sometimes contribute to the creation of, brand and style guidelines.Work closely with in-house development team as they build apps and sites based on your designs;Participate in testing sites and apps-in-progress to ensure compliance with design and brand standards provide feedback and notes for the development team.ESSENTIAL SKILLSStrategic PlanningRequirements GatheringUX DesignArt DirectionGraphic DesignUI DesignResponsive DesignProcess ImprovementQuality OversightESSENTIAL SOFTWARE TOOLSAdobe Creative Suite: primarily Xd, PsFigmaINDUSTRY KNOWLEDGEShould have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle from idea through delivery including, but not limited to clarifying underlying business goals, building prototypes, designing user experiences, wireframing, designing responsive UI, testing and deployment.Should have a basic understanding of software development frameworks and services, e-commerce, infrastructure design, security and privacy compliance standards, and varying distribution platforms guidelines.Should be conversant in general business, commerce, marketing and audience building principles in order to contribute to forming strategic and creative solutions for meeting business goals.Must have proven experience in a similar role.Must be inherently interested and attentive to industry trends and best practices across app and website delivery platforms.ABOUT GROOTERS PRODUCTIONSGrooters Productions is a full-service multi-media production and software development company located in Holland, Michigan.
