Job DetailsJob TypeFull-timeToledo/Holland, Ohio, OH Human Resources A therapist/counselor working for Racing for Recovery will provide therapeutic services in support of recovery to individuals with addiction, in accordance with established clinical guidelines. ?Incorporate the 10 Lifestyles of Recovery into counseling and therapy, case management, care coordination and treatment planning to assist each person with attaining and sustaining recovery. Duties: Perform screening, intake, orientation, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral consultation, and reports/record keeping under the supervision of a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor or licensed professional clinical counselor. Provide counseling to individuals, groups, and families.Assessing Contribute to development and implementation of an individual treatment plan collaboratively with each person served and the treatment team. Continually monitor and evaluate each persons progression and recommend treatment plan revisions as indicated. Provide community referrals, information and coordinate care with all other professionals involved in client care. ?Maintain an awareness of community resources relevant to clients needs. Provide case management and individual skills training to people as indicated in the treatment plan. Facilitate group sessions or co-facilitate on topics relevant to recovery. Fully understand and use?ASAM level of care to determine appropriate recommendations for people. Provide therapeutic services in support of recovery to individuals with Substance Use and Mental Health diagnoses in accordance with established clinical guidelines. Incorporate the Ten Lifestyles of Recovery into the phases of treatment engagement, assessment, formulation, goal setting, intervention, evaluation and transition. Knowledge and understanding of the treatment of mental health and addiction as co-occurring disorders and ability to use evidence-based approaches to address people. Communicate with supervisor or designated back-up for clarifications of procedures or clinical assistance/consultation as needed.Complete documentation requirements and maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records, including billing, in records within 24 hours. Ensures that all records and documentation meet HIPAA, Medicaid, OMHAS and CARF standards. Fully understands and apply all relevant rules for treatment, documentation and billing. Participates in regular supervision, team meetings, staff in-services and ongoing training. ?Maintain all required hours for license renewal. Promote and embody the Racing for Recovery Lifestyles. Meet productivity standards. Other duties to support the mission of Racing for Recovery.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Licensed LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC in Ohio and maintain all required hours for license renewal. CARF accreditation experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to helping individuals on their path to recovery. Experience working with people with addictions and knowledge of substance abuse treatment and counseling techniques. Ability to work flexible work schedule which may include rotation of shifts; weekends and holidays.Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce grammatically correct clinical documentation.2 years post grad a plusAbility to meet insurability requirements for driving company vehicles.
