The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in early childhood education, art, and a love for working with young children. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of preschool-aged students through art making.Art Kids is a small summer camp on the mainline. You will be in charge of 8-10 kids ages 3-4.Responsibilities:- Develop fun and appropriate lessons for ages 3-4.- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment- Provide individualized attention to each student- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom atmosphere- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students- Arrive on time to greet parents and their kiddos.Experience:- Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or related field- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting- Ability to educate and engage young learners through creative teaching methods- Interest and knowledge of art and facilitating art lessons to young children.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentJob Type: Part-timePay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hourExpected hours: 15 per weekBenefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Monday to FridayMorning shift Experience: art teaching or taching: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 (Required) Work Location: In person
