Part-Time STEM Teacher/Instructor - Coding and Robotics, Fort Washington, PAFast growing, high-performing Wize Computing Academy (Central and Eastern Montgomery County, PA) is a project-based learning computing academy where students learn from a combination of online projects and offline material. Programs at the Wize Computing Academy are designed to meaningfully extend STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) learning and expand a childs mind through the development of critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills. We prepare students to be the innovators, educators, leaders and learners of the 21st century!Key responsibilities include:Effectively manage a classroom with children ages between 4 yrs to 15 yrs old.Engage students in fun and relevant coding & robotics lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needsObserve and track students progress and attendanceReinforce positive student behavior and session rulesMaintain a positive relationship with all students, families and staffCommunicate with management to discuss member progress, needs, and concerns.Attend meetings and professional development training organized by management.Present oneself and one's ideas with clarity, confidence, and poiseQualificationsEducation, training, or experience in technology, teaching and related areasExperience working with children preferredWillingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlookDeep appreciation for teamwork and drive to be part of a high-level teamAbility to adapt to a changing environment and address varying needsClear background check is mandatoryPay Range$20-$45/hour.
