Mobility City General Managers provide oversight of the business and backup coverage in all showroom related activities including phone coverage, scheduling of Technicians, maintaining inventory and providing overall guidance and leadership to the staff. They provide excellent customer service in store, on the phone and in customers homes. They market and promote the store to meet profit and revenue targets.Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities: Schedule all staff members to ensure adequate customer service and coverage and all times. Plan and coordinate all advertising activities, maintain local presence in the community via chamber and organization involvement and lead quad marketing efforts in the local community. Assist in showroom providing excellent customer service with respect to solving customers challenges. Make proper recommendations for equipment solutions. Instruct customer on proper use and maintenance of equipment. Follow up on web leads (forms submissions) within 15 minutes of receipt. Answer the phones promptly. Respond to questions, make recommendations and process credit cards to confirm orders. Maintain inventory levels of parts including batteries and all equipment in showroom. Report to ownership on location performance, inventory levels, staffing requirements, capital needs and other areas of the business as necessary. Follow mobility City procedures utilizing QuickBooks Online, Method, Avachado and other related business tools. Ensure Mobility City policies and procedures are being followed. Provide counseling as necessary to employees when necessary. Participate in continuing education/training in-services relative to products that Mobility City sells, delivers and services. Ensure staff is utilizing all available tools to meet compliance and certification requirements of our vendors. Pursue Google reviews after every transaction.Skills Required:1. Communication and interpersonal skills for frequent contact with customers as well as stakeholders external to Mobility City. Ability to persuade or negotiate on a wide range of subjects in situations which may be controversial, sensitive and/or lead to confrontation. Also working with manufacturer support teams as necessary. Communicating all of these activities regularly with ownership.2. Leadership skills including demonstrated willingness to pursue opportunities/roles with increasing levels of accountability within the organization including multi-unit leadership. Comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others (including customers, stakeholders and ownership).3. Proficiency in the use of personal computers, demonstrated competence with word processing, data base and spreadsheet software.4. Ability to be the face of Mobility City in the local market. Represent the company and the brand putting us in the best possible light.
