We are looking for a experienced and meticulous Staff QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our healthcare SaaS platform. The Staff QA Engineer is responsible for for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, experience with SaaS applications, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Other Job DutiesOther duties as assigned by supervisor or HHA exchange leader.Travel RequirementsTravel up to 10%, including overnight travelRequired Education, Experience, Certifications and SkillsB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field, or significant relevant experience5-7 years experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in both manual and automated testing of SaaS-based distributed software products deployed in AWS or similar Cloud environmentAt least 3 years experience testing software products in the Healthcare domain, with a focus on healthcare transactions. Strong understanding of healthcare standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.Passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering superior software productsProficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similarIn-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, frameworks, tools, and processesTrack record of defining and setting testing standards and successfully implementing them across teamsExperience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs in an agile development environmentStrong knowledge of SaaS architecture, technologies, and best practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environmentKeen attention to detail, strong analytical and excellent problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Experience, Certifications and SkillsExperience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunnerKnowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesCertifications such as ISTQB or similar are a plusThe base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $130,000-$140,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values. This is a benefits-eligible position.
