We are looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated full-time and/or part-time Speech Language Pathologist and/or Speech Language Pathology Assistant to serve the pediatric community at our outpatient clinic in Rock Hill, SC.We Offer Benefits:Health insuranceVision insuranceDental insurancePaid time offReferral programFlexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceSpeech Language Pathologist Job Description:The person selected to fill this position will work with children with a variety of diagnoses and their families to help them meet developmental milestones. Diagnoses range in severity, complexity, and co-morbidity, including but not limited to: Dysphagia, Autism, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, neurological conditions, stuttering, voice disorders, and other various conditions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform selected components of speech therapy intervention to include treatment, measurement and data collection in accordance with laws, regulatory requirements, and ASHA documents.Implement treatment plans designed to help patients develop within their natural environment.Implement screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations using delegated assessments and providing reports of observations and resident capacities.Therapeutic Intervention Selection:Select therapy activities to fit patients needs and capabilities. Alter treatment programs as necessary.Monitor patient's performance in therapy activities and provide encouragement.Observe and document patient's progress, attitudes and behavior.Monitor patients needs, goals, performance, and appropriate follow-up resources that may contribute to patients discharge or transition plan.Support patients and caregivers/family of home programs including early development, basic living skills and the use of AAC.Perform duties in a safe manner in accordance with established policies and procedures.Timely and accurately record speech therapy services in an informative and descriptive manner.Ensure all speech therapy documentation conveys specific therapy provided and the patients response or lack of response to the therapy provided.Perform all therapy services in accordance with the individualized plan of care.Record all entries on notes, charts, etc. in an informative and descriptive manner.Attend patient care team meetings, IFSP & IEP Meetings, and other conferences (i.e. in-training workshops) as requested.What to Except:We offer a stable and professional working environmentWork culture of support, collaboration, positivity, vision, and purposeStaff professional development opportunitiesCEU, licensure, and insurance reimbursementMental Wellness DaysModified/flexible work scheduleCompetitive pay ratesDirect deposit of paychecksRequired Education and Experience:Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, or other related field from an accredited college or university.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. At this time we cannot accept any CF applicants.Ability to pass a background screening, drug test, & driver history check.Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
