We are seeking Full AND Part Time clinicians to join our team!Salary is dependent upon specialty area training and experience.Please feel free to email jcasale@mjkidz with your resume for faster response.For this part time position, we are looking for a minimum commitment of two nights a week (Monday through Thursday after 3:30 or 4:00 PM Friday or Saturday 8am-noon).The Full time postion schedule is set by the supervisorsResponsibilities include:Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on children, adolescents, and/or adults. Analyze, interpret, and document evaluation results.Develop patient care plan with short and long-term goals.Maintain all records in compliance with regulations, reimbursement requirements, and job responsibilities.Plan and provide individual and/or group therapy according to individual needs and goals.Perform routine documentation of client performance, adjusting goals and treatment as needed, and determine discharge care plans as appropriate.Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a clients daily living environment.Communicate with other professionals such as physicians, psychologists, social workers, behavior therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and recreation therapists, with signed release of information.Team with parent and/or other team members in a therapy session, as appropriate.Make appropriate referrals for additional services such as psychiatry, psychology, dentistry, audiology, behavior therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and educational therapy.Maintain compliance with state and federal policies, NJ state board for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers, and ASHA.Supervise aides/volunteers, other Speech-Language Pathologists and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as assignedParticipate in in-services and/or parent education training programs, as appropriate.Requirements:Must obtain NPI number and purchase liability insurance if hiredConsent to background screeningPositive tone in interactions with staffWelcomes constructive feedback and applies to promote growthContributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as requestedAttention to detailIndependently driven to meet goals/targetsPeople oriented and results drivenEffective and efficient problem solverExcellent attendance and punctualityFlexible with the ability to adapt quickly to changesExhibits responsibility and professionalismExcellent communication skillsEnjoys working the pediatric population and their familiesOrganization and effective task management in fast-paced environmentMust have after school/evening availabilityMust have Certification of Clinical Competence through ASHAExperience in multiple settings with varying ages and populations (preferred)Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding (preferred)Experience with ASD population (preferred)Must have NJ License as Speech Language Pathologist or Temporary License pursuing Clinical FellowshipJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $57,000.00 - $74,000.00 per yearExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits: 401(k) Schedule: After schoolWeekends as needed Work setting: In-personOutpatient Work Location: In person
