We are excited to offer a Co-op QA Automation Engineer position for an enthusiastic individual eager to gain practical experience in software quality assurance and automation. As a QA Automation Engineer Co-op, you will collaborate with software testers and developers to ensure we deliver an error-free experience to our customers. You will be proactive in maintaining and executing test scripts, testing updates and fixes, and identifying and clearly documenting issues so that they are easy to understand. This will be a 4 month internship which will start in May and end in August and will be a remote role.

What You'll Do:

Design, maintain, and execute automated tests in cooperation with our QA Automation Engineer.
Identify and clearly document issues encountered during testing.
Support the test team by executing manual and automated test scripts, as well as manual verification and testing of issue fixes.
Develop an understanding of the product line and proactively stay informed of the latest changes in the software.
Follow established procedures for running tests and reporting issues using the core tools: Axosoft, Google suite
Continuously expand your knowledge and understanding of our software testing practices

What We Think Is True About You:

Currently a post-secondary student completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
A respectful, collaborative attitude and an appreciation for the value of others being heard
An ability to express your points of view, listen to those of others and commit to the group's decision


Nice to Have:

Experience working in an AWS, web-based, linux environment
Proven experience testing in a Cloud-based, SaaS environment
Experience with TestIM, Browserstack, and Axosoft
