JOB PURPOSE: Nuvative, Inc., Software Engineers design, analyze and build computer applications, middleware, and network control systems across a variety of departments, including Finance, Operations, Compliance, Marketing and Technology.RESPONSIBILITIESContribute to the software design process by studying information needs; conferring with users; learning and incorporating new technology; making improvement suggestionsDevelop high-quality software design and architecture by producing clean, commented, tested, efficient codeTest, debug and fix codeConfigure systems and deploy codeRespond to issue and bug reports in a timely fashionUpdate job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.Protect company and customer data by keeping information confidential QUALIFICATIONS1-3 years experience (Beginner to Intermediate level) in relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)1-3 years experience (Beginner to Intermediate level) in selected programming languages (e.g. C#, VB.Net, JavaScript)Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitudeAbility to work independently, and as a contributing member of a teamAbility to prioritize tasksComplete coding tasks with less-than-detailed scopesAbility to estimate task work time and meet deliverable deadlinesIncorporate secure programming practices into every taskAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents and statementsAbility to respond to company issues clearly and effectively WHY WORK FOR US: At Nuvative, youll find an environment where our team is the core of what we do and good work is rewarded and growth is valued.
