The Service Technician position for Screenmobile of El Cajon (SMEC) includes travelling to and assembly of window screen and screen door products at customer locations. The job includes product sales as well as stocking and maintenance of parts, products and equipment. This position reports to the Owner and works closely with the Scheduling Coordinator.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentCurrent Drivers LicenseBasic knowledge of hand tools no screen product experience neededBasic math knowledge ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, understand and follow safety, operating and maintenance instructionsAbility to stand, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb laddersAbility to stand 5-7 hours per day, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and move it unaided 50 feetSpecific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focusCapability of operating basic functions of a phone-based scheduling and billing systemHistory of on-time work performanceDuties:Communicate with the Scheduling Coordinator to ensure that the assigned work is completed on time and per the job descriptionAssigned equipment is stocked and ready for each day prior to departureParts, tools and equipment quantities and condition are adequateVehicle and trailer (if assigned) are in good mechanical conditionProduct is installed and functional per the training and specifications of SMECJobs, quotes and invoices recorded correctly and in a timely mannerShow up on time, inform appropriate people if you are 15 minutes or more late, inform customers of your status and keep your timecard up to dateFabrication and installation of products per Screenmobile standards and scheduled by Scheduling CoordinatorAppearance and Uniform in good repair and in compliance with SMEC guidelinesRepresent SMEC professionally to customers and in compliance with SMEC guidelinesOther duties, as specified by the Owner and/or Operations Manager, appropriate to the Overview abovePhantom Screens of San Diego duties are a separate position, recorded and paid separately from SMEC, as assigned, but will be counted as hours for overtime purpose on a weekly basis Compensation:This position is hourly and paid at a current rate based on experience and performanceAn additional Revenue Share bonus may be paid each pay period based on the value of jobs worked on personally and performed satisfactorily, as determined by Owner
