We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Armed Court Security Officer. If you are passionate about maintaining order, ensuring safety, and upholding the law, we encourage you to apply.Job Description: As a Court Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the courthouse premises. Your primary duties will include:Providing security screening for individuals entering the courthouse, including bag checks and metal detection.Monitoring courthouse facilities to prevent unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with security protocols.Responding to security incidents and emergencies in a prompt and professional manner.Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and court personnel to address security concerns and maintain order.Providing assistance and information to courthouse visitors as needed.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in security and/or law enforcement.Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Strong observational skills and attention to detail.Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Armed private security license or able to obtain an armed license. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule of 4 to 5 days per week, with shifts typically ranging from Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
