With knowledge of the industry and the company's strategy they develop sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability.The SDR develops, maintains, and interacts primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers within the market to increases sales of products and/or services.Responsibilities:Lead Generation and EngagementGenerate leads and participates as a key member of the development team for new salesMonitor bid sites daily using platforms like ZoomInfo and BidOceanConduct outreach to Engineering firms specializing in underground utilities to have Vortex Materials specd inConduct outreach to City/County Engineers and Approval committees to have Vortex Materials specd inIdentify local, state, and federal funding sourcesTrack capital improvement project budget reviewsMarket Intel and Research (Sales strategy feed research focus)Segmented outreach by state, rotating as needed for maximum coveragePrepare data for estimating and operations teamTrack bids, projects, and private workCustomer EngagementOwns the customer experience and identifies opportunities for improvementProvide regional sales support by facilitating meetings with engineers, public works professionals, and material approval board to showcase Vortex Products and Services offerings.
