Are you outgoing and good in communication and sales? Then this job is made for you. We are seeking a seasonal full time sales associate that can sell our locally grown saffron and barberries at the Pike Place Market in Seattle. We are looking for someone that can work Thursdays-Mondays starting April 11th till December 31st 2024. Hours are 7:30am - 4:30/5:30pm.Desired qualifications include:- Fluent in English.- Previous customer service experience.- Sales experience highly desired.- Excellent communication skills and can answer customers question.- Engage with customers openly and start a conversation.- Outstanding money-handling skills.- Be comfortable with touch tablets and credit card readers.- Open for training and gaining knowledge in the saffron and barberry business.- Happy and outgoing nature.- Strong relationship skills.- Punctual and reliable.- Dependable, efficient and able to multitask.- Provide excellent customer service.- Be able to be exposed to hot and cold climates at the outside farm tables.- Be able to handle a loud and crowded environment.
