Job Summary:This position manages all issues directly impacting the safety and security of GenPsychs environment, clients, and staff.Job Functions and Duties:1. Continually patrols and assesses the environment in order to identify safety and security risks associated with the environment of care, including but not limited to: the building, grounds, equipment, staff activity, and the care and work environment for clients and employees.2. Provide timely response to perceived threats, emergencies and requests for assistance.3. Report crime, fire, injury, or other incidents in accordance with GenPsych policy as necessary with local authorities.4. Conducts site inspections and reports results to supervisor and Quality Assurance.5. Maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.6. Provides safety-specific trainings to staff and clients.7. Implements and conducts safety-drills and designates safe haven areas in the event of emergencies.8. Collects data regarding environment and safety and develops reports for Quality Assurance purposes.9. Monitors clients during program breaks and escorts them back to scheduled activities in an orderly and timely fashion.10. Interacts professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and staff in performance of daily duties.11. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality.12. Supervise drivers on transporting clients, maintaining vehicles, assisting with organizing routes for drivers. Assisting drivers with obtaining quotes for the vehicle maintenance.13. Submit bi-weekly orders for supplies.14. Keep track of vehicle maintenance.15. Coordinate with drivers regarding client pick up and client drop off schedule.16. Keep track of site supply inventory.17. Perform basic administrative duties when needed.18. Ensure site is clean and well maintained by supervising cleaning crew19. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Qualifications:1. A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution; or2. An Associates degree and two years experience in the provision of appropriate youth services; or3. A high school diploma and five years experience in the provision of appropriate youth services.
