Production Supervisor

PM Shift Production SupervisorUnder the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will oversee entire production area, quality of product and safety of all employees. The Production Supervisor will need to be an effective communicator to ensure proper communication between shifts. This position will be 5:00 pm to 5:00 am. Bilingual preferred.Essential duties and responsibilities of the PositionMentor/Coach Assistant SupervisorsUnderstand the production line flow & system settings to produce steady product flow to maximize productivityCommunicate with Production Manager on staffing needsMonitor production area, ensure efficiencies are metAct as the production line expert from raw materials to finished goodsMonitor timeclock daily, edit/add (Kitchen Fresh employees & temps)Work with Staffing Agencies and Kitchen Fresh Staffing Coordinator to identify open positionsEnsure daily Production & Shipping times are metWork with Production Manager to identify areas of improvement in the production areaManage weekly production schedule/balance schedule between shiftsMentor/Coach Assistant Supervisors on leadership and business decisionsManage the employee break schedule to either run through breaks or ensure timeliness of breaksMonitor attendance & issue progressive discipline per company policiesAdheres to and complies with all food safety, food quality and GMP policiesAll other duties as assignedEducationFour-year college or two-year technical degree preferred or four years of high school with 1-2 years experience.Language SkillsAbility to read, write, and interpret English and effectively communicate information.
