Because we strive for excellence, all our employees must be committed to clear communication at every level.LocationPiedmont, SCJob DescriptionWe are now seeking a Project & Procurement Coordinator who thrives on accuracy, detail, and problem-solving to join our team. This position will involve general office administration tasks, as well as working directly with the Office Staff and Project Manager(s) in communication and management of current and future projects. You will be responsible for estimating and preparing accurate cost proposals by preparing accurate material take-offs, acquiring pricing from subcontractors and vendors, and writing detailed and accurate scopes of work. As Purchasing, you will price source items needed, obtain detailed material quotes to prepare for ordering, and place material orders as needed.QualificationsA plus would be to have a background in logistics, supply chain management, and project management.Team PlayerExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Computer Savvy with typing abilities and experience with cost estimating tools and software such as Aspire (Not required but is a plus).Strong organizational and time management skills.Self-directed and results driven.High level of accuracy and detail-oriented.Ability to recognize discrepancies and problem-solve.Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.Collaborates effectively with others (internal & external).Punctual with the ability to be on time to work.ResponsibilitiesDetailed material takeoffs.Timely prepare comprehensive cost estimates.Build project information packets to streamline ordering.Shop materials to stay within or under budgets for all aspects of each project.Acquire trade partner/vendor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive pricing.Pricing and Writing change orders.Participate in team meetings to provide cost-related input, purchase-related status, and handoffs.Purchasing and receiving.Assist with project close-out documents.Prepare monthly reports on project progress.Prepare Pre-Qualification and Bonding applications.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.Be able to assist with general office duties (as time allows).Hours Monday Thursday 8:00 am 4:00 pm Friday 8:00 am 12:00 pmCompensationStarting at $18-$22 per hour based on experience with a 90 day performance evaluation. At that time the compensation will be reevaluated.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits: Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Piedmont, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
