As we launch our newest clinic in St. Pete, we're seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join us on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the clinic continues to grow. At AchieveAbility Therapy, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional work/life balance, supportive co-workers, and a commitment to professional growth and development.Position Overview:As a part-time OT or COTA at our St. Pete clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children with diverse sensory and motor needs. Working collaboratively with our ABA and Speech Therapy team, you will help support the holistic development of our clients and contribute to their overall success.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments for children ages 2 to 7 years oldDevelop individualized treatment plans to address sensory, motor, and attention goals and promote independent living.Provide direct therapy services to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies tailored to meet their unique needs.Collaborate closely with ABA therapists, speech therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care and alignment of treatment goals.Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, review treatment plans, and provide input on interdisciplinary interventions.Provide education and support to families and caregivers on strategies for promoting generalization of skills in naturalistic settings.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client outcomes following professional standards and regulatory requirements.Experience and Requirements:Current license from the Florida Department of HealthExperience working with pediatric populations, preferably children ages 2-7.Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy principles and collaborate with ABA and SLP professionals.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.Willingness to travel to our partnered daycare location (less than a 5-minute drive from the clinic location) to complete screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and therapy sessions.AdaptabilityGreat organizational skillsBenefits:Competitive compensation with the opportunity for advancement to full-time/salary employment.
