SAN ANTONIO, TX (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - An amazing family in the Alamo Heights/Terrell Hills area is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 3 children; a 7-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 3-year-old boy. This family is seeking a mature professional nanny with a strong moral character who truly loves children and can partner with the stay-at-home mom.In general, the tentative schedule is Monday / Wednesday 11 am - 6 pm, Tuesday/Thursday 12 - 6 pm, and Friday 9 am - 4 pm (and occasionally evenings and weekends). Candidates should be open to traveling with the family on occasion and they should have a passport or a willingness to get a passport.Duties are related to general admin, logistics, and care which includes but is not limited to keeping up with the childrens laundry, picking them up from school and taking to after-school activities, appointments, and therapies. In addition, keeping their areas tidy (bedroom, playroom, closet, arts/crafts). Assist in scheduling additional activities outside of school like sports, summer camps, ski school, etc. When the family is out of the home in the evening, the nanny is responsible for making dinner for the children or taking them out for dinner. Providing fun and engaging activities inside the house and outings outside the house on days off from school and over weekends. Helping assist and purchase teacher gifts and class parties. Packing and unpacking children for trips. Basic upkeep in the kitchen area: load/empty dishwasher, wipe down counters end of day, help put away groceries and keep pantry tidy and organized. Stay on top of household items in the kitchen (kid snacks, trash bags, paper towels, medicine cabinet) and in children's area (replenish art supplies, shower products, diaper/wipes). Taking care of dogs: scheduling appts., making sure food and meds are always available, toys, walking dogs at least 1x a week, and occasional pet sitting when the family is away. Assisting Mom on daily tasks like running errands (picking up food orders, running to Target, gifts, carwash, mail) and helping keep her organized through calendars and shared notes with a running to-do list.The family spends some time in Jackson Hole during the summers and goes on yearly ski trips and to the family ranch. They would like a candidate who is comfortable traveling with family and understands professional boundaries and expectations. Mom is seeking a partner who understands she is hands-on and is comfortable working alongside her as an extension of herself.The family provides a vehicle for the nanny to use while working. Candidates should be animal lovers and open to some care for the dogs and willingness to take them to the vet/appointments.Benefits include PTO + Sick Days + Paid Holidays + relocation expenses (negotiable). The family has no vaccination preference at this time. The projected start date is August 15th. Pay is $25-40/hr gross via payroll based on experience.
