We're excited to chat with you about joining the Alaska Fresh team!Responsibilities:- Sell frozen fish (salmon, halibut, sablefish, salmon burgers, etc.) to customers at a farmers market (multiple locations available)- Learn about our products to provide exceptional customer service- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems- Use a digital scale to weigh the fish- Set up and break down the farmers market booth set-up- Maintain a clean and organized booth- Communicate effectively with customers and team members- Keep accurate inventory- Must have a drivers license and a car to take stuff to and from the market- Smartphone to connect with a provided card reader and POS appExperience:- Previous experience in sales preferred but not necessary- Must be able to learn the POS app (Square) and handle cash efficiently- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele- Ability to effectively communicate product details and benefits to customersIf you want to learn about sales and make some extra money this summer, this is the job for you!Job Type: Seasonal Contract JobPay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
