Wayside Cider in Andes, NY seeks a line-cook/dishwasher to join our small kitchen team. An ideal candidate for this job will be willing to learn, reliable, detail oriented and positive and a little weird. No prior experience is necessary, we are happy to train you on the job. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment, so candidates should be able to stay cool under pressure. The work would primarily consist of plating and serving food during our service hours, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, though there is also an opportunity to get involved with the prep side of things if that interests you. We operate as a team at our taproom, so folks generally help each other out regardless of specific role. Waysides culture is one of trustyour hard work will be met with a positive and uplifting work environment where we all take pride in the work that we do and like to have a good time while we do it. As a company we try to prioritize a healthy work/life balance, making strong communication skills a must-have for success. The more you can be clear and up-front about what you need from us, the better we are able to meet those needs, and vice-versa. Compensation is a base hourly wage plus tips. Candidates must have their own transportation and must be able to work weekends/evenings.
