About usElevation Rehab is an in-house Outpatient rehabilitation service, providing care to Durham Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care.```Licensed Occupational Therapist```We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Occupational Therapist/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in medical imaging, physiology knowledge, geriatrics, occupational health, acute care, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge will be essential in providing effective treatment and care.```Licensed Occupational Therapist Duties```- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, balance, and sensory processing- Teach patients adaptive techniques and strategies to enhance their daily functioning- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes```Licensed Occupational Therapist Qualifications```- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy- Valid North Carolina state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to careIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have the qualifications listed above, we would love to hear from you.
