Hours needed Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday 10a-6p, Lunch daily 12-1pmOVERVIEW: Assesses patients soft tissue conditions, joint quality, muscle strength and their range of motion under direction of chiropractor physician. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for assessing patients' soft tissue conditions, joint quality, muscle strength and their range of motion.Must consult with other health care professionals like physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians and psychologists so they will be able to develop effective treatment plans for each client.Provide patients with a wide variety of manual therapy techniques.Assist patients with rehabilitative exercises.Confer with patients about medical histories.Maintain treatment recordsProvide coverage in other clinicsOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of various modalities preferred, including but not limited to, E-Stim, Ultrasound, Mechanical Traction and Hydrotherapy.Knowledge of local and state licensing laws and regulations.SKILLS:Superior communication skills.ABILITIES:Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists and sales staff.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:Competition of an accredited LMT program, Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
