Licensed Massage Therapist

The Spa at Shear Ego is seeking a professional client-oriented, licensed massage therapist who loves helping people feel their best. We offer fair compensation and benefits, opportunities for development, and a professional and supportive work environment.Requirements:Must possess a valid current New York State licenseAt least one year of experienceCertified by a credible massage therapy schoolIn depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulationExcellent collaboration and communication skillsWillingness to learn and positive energyEvening and some weekend availability required (Part-time and Full-time positions)Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform 35, 50, and 80-minute Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal massages in a professional and comfortable settingAnalyze clients' current medical and physical prior to treatmentEnsure the rooms are cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shiftRemain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms and waiversPromote Spa and Salon services and productsProvide a positive experience for our clients from the moment they walk in the doorEducate clients on lifestyle changes to improve their healthPractice and follow all Department of Professional Regulation policies and procedures, including all sanitation and hygiene standards, as well as maintain a clean, professional environment at all timesPerform general Spa duties, as needed.Join the Shear Ego team and find a career filled with strong compensation, opportunity for advancement, and support for professional growth.
