We are professional, collaborative, supportive and our goal is to motivate, inspire and assist our guests of all abilities and ages, wellness and personal development goals..Our work environment includes:Modern studio settingHolistic health friendlyGrowth opportunitiesWellness programsFlexible working hoursWe are specifically looking to hire a massage therapist that can provide pre-natal massages.Responsibilities:- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massages- Perform Pre-Natal massages- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Stay informed about current medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy knowledge- Utilize proper body mechanics and occupational health practices to prevent injury- Manage acute pain and provide pain management strategiesSkills:- Proficiency in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic massage techniques- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy- Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans- Experience in acute pain management and pain management strategies- Familiarity with occupational health practices to ensure personal safety and prevent injuryNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
