Lead Preschool Teacher

EDS is looking for a Lead 3's teacher to join us for our 2024-25 school year.Position begins August 26th, 2024.GREAT TEAM of creative teachers (who love their jobs!) in a truly unique and supportive community. We have FUN everyday!Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., Monday-Friday.School located on Mercer Island's north end - close to I-90. Great campus.Paid time off for school district holidays and breaks.Position renewable at the end of each school year.Independent, non-profit, non-religious preschool serving students 21/2 years old to 6 years of age.Preschool teacher daily responsibilities:-Ability to plan, collaborate and/or follow a curriculum focused on developmentally appropriate skills.- Ability to consistently and energetically engage in classroom management with a mind for safety, compassion, creativity and patience.Preschool teacher qualifications:-Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must.- Relevant training and experience in early childhood education with classroom experience required.- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in related field desired.
