Fast pace environmental company servicing the tri-state area, NY, is looking for an experienced field EPA Lead Inspector, Monday through Friday, full time. We are searching for hard working, driven individuals to meet and exceed goals.Overview: Under general direction of the Inspections Manger, the Environmental Technician/Inspector performs a variety of routine field inspections to ongoing clientele responsible for providing customers with timely and accurate field inspector reports. Housing will be considered for out of state employees.Qualifications and Experience:EPA Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor LicenseJob Type: Full-timeJob Location: Various Locations throughout NYCEssential Job Duties: The following tasks are essential for this position. (May perform similar or related tasks not listed here )Provides high-level environmental inspections to property managers and residences in tri-state areaPrepare reports, enter data into sales tracking database, maintain accurate documentationResolves in the field problems that arise throughout the course of the dayCollect field samples, hand write field reports and draw sketches of job siteWork together with a team of field inspectorsProvides manager and team of inspectors with all required information required to complete assigned taskUpdate and maintain important documents and Environmental Protection Agency certificationsMay perform other assigned tasks as requiredSkills and Abilities:Must have very strong technical skillsStrong computer skills and ability to learn technical softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have legible handwriting in EnglishStrong attention to detail and the ability to work independentlyExcellent organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills, and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities while working under little supervisionMaturity and judgment, and sound decision-making in order to communicate on an executive level and maintain a high degree of confidentialityHigh level of motivation, integrity, self-confidence and the ability to take initiativeAbility to adapt to change, learn new skills rapidly and respond well to a variety of situationsJob Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftLicense/Certification:EPA Lead / Risk Assessor License (Preferred)Work Location: On the road
