Cleanleaf is seeking a Landscaper to join our growing team! The Landscaper is regarded as the entry-level or apprentice position and will work under direct supervision from higher level technical team member and/or management staff. ATTENTION: THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION BETWEEN 04/01/2024 AND 11/30/2024 ABOUT THE ROLE Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basisPerform vegetation management through the use of mowers and handheld, motorized trimersPerform regular maintenance on all mowing equipmentUnder supervision, perform Preventive Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standardsUnder supervision, perform Corrective Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards, ensuring that the root cause has been identified and correctedEnsure that work being performed in the area meets or exceeds Cleanleaf's O&M standardsPerform panel washing through the use of water fed brushesComplete assigned task safely, correctly, and within the allotted timeEnsure all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to the employee are accounted for, maintained in good condition, repaired or replaced as requiredCorrectly document all work in a Service Visit and Case within Cleanleafs CMMS. Correct documentation includes proper grammar and spelling, photography, thermal photography, and completion of checklistsSuch other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Area Supervisor SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSafety is a core value at Cleanleaf and the Landscaper must:Read, understand and sign all safety proceduresAttend weekly safety meetingsReceive, inspect, and maintain all required PPEComplete all required safety trainingEnsure every safety incident known to the employee is reported timely and accuratelyEnsure every safety incident involving the employee is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are implemented REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record checkMust have and maintain a valid driver's licenseMust become DOT-certified upon management request (will depend on assigned responsibilities)Ability to communicate in English, both oral and writtenOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesExcitement about growing along with a fast-paced, dynamic company; comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build, experiment, and iterate when the path forward is undefinedA passion for renewable energy, addressing the climate crisis, and accelerating the clean energy transformation COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & CULTURECleanleaf uses an internally equitable and externally competitive total cash approach to compensation.
