Landscape gardener

We're looking for a knowledgeable, driven, and experienced gardener to become part of Botany Landscape Gardening, a residential landscaping company based in Boulder, CO. We care deeply about where we live and this is reflected in our approach to gardening - we strive to make beautiful and functional spaces that work within the ecosystem by encouraging native and regionally adapted plant selections, creating pollinator habitat, reducing water use, and utilizing organic gardening practices.This is a seasonal position primarily working in residential garden landscapes. Duties include regular garden maintenance, light tree and shrub pruning, planting, and landscape installs. Applicants must have knowledge of common plants and weeds found in the garden as well as fundamental gardening techniques and practices. This position requires a certain amount of independence and the ability to make knowledgeable decisions based on prior gardening experience and understanding of plant communities. We spend all day outside in the dirt so you must have a strong interest in horticulture and organic gardening practices and the ability to efficiently work in hot, sunny conditions. Prior gardening experience or applicable coursework is desirable. You must be self motived, capable of working independently, and able to respectfully interact with homeowners.We typically work 5 days/week 9:15 - 3:45 (dependent on weather). This position is for 3 to 5 days per week throughout the gardening season and will likely wrap up in November or early December.
