Kennel Attendant

Looking for a self starter interested in working primarily with dogs, although we do also have a small number of livestock. Duties include but are not limited to:Providing daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and medicating as necessaryCleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and other animal housing areasAssisting with bathing and grooming of animals as neededMonitoring the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to managementExperience & Ability:Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary, dog training, pet grooming, or pet care setting is preferredAbility to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of timeAbility to work outside in inclement weatherHas reliable transportation to/fromCan adapt to changing daily schedule, and work independentlyIf you have a passion for working with animals and providing excellent care, we encourage you to apply for the position of Kennel Assistant.
