Digital Marketing Intern Job Summary:In this collaborative digital marketing internship you will get a chance to learn & grow important skills and gain professional experience by working on a myriad of projects spanning communications, fundraising, event planning, and more. Our ideal candidate has a fundamental understanding of current digital marketing best practices, social media, and/or graphic design; strong communication and copy writing skills; and enjoy team based project management. A passion for photography a plus. As part of the Resource & Development Team, you will play a role in supporting outreach efforts, fundraising campaigns, and development initiatives. This internship offers valuable exposure to the nonprofit sector and an opportunity to develop essential skills in relationship building, communication, and project management. Assist with email marketing campaigns; focusing on contact list segmentation and data entry. Research and draft blog content. Design marketing materials and digital collateral. Assist in event management; attend annual events, aid in set up, etc. Aid in brainstorming new marketing and communications strategies and content. Additional tasks as assigned. Skills and QualificationsEssential skills for this position that are useful but not required include the following: Recently completed or current enrollment in a bachelors degree program Prior internship experience (not required but a plus) Experience using Canva and/or other content creation tools Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software Ability to quickly learn, process information and utilize new skills/systems Organization and time management skills Solid understanding of different marketing techniques Experience with using a camera for photo/video shoots (not required but a plus) Familiarity with CRM tools, analytics, ad management tools (not required but a plus) Passion for the digital marketing industry and its best practices Job Types: Part-time, InternshipPay: Not a paid position Expected hours: 10-15 hours per week Schedule: Choose your own hours between 9-5pm, Monday through Friday.
