Insurance Commercial Service Representative (CSR) / Underwriting Team SupportMcGriff Insurance Services, LLC is a national leader in the insurance consulting industry. We are looking for an entry-level Team Support/Client Service Representative for our Public Entity Insurance Pool group in our Lake Oswego, Oregon office. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors degree and be eager to work and possess a combination of refined writing and communication skills, business acumen, mathematic skills, and proficiency in office software.Entry-Level Administrative Support Position Summary:Work with a team of fifteen (18), in an office of 50, to achieve efficient and effective communication, and provide outstanding client support to members and prospects of a property and casualty insurance program administered by McGriff.Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:Database Maintenance (30%) Administration of a proprietary database Assist in maintaining membership database, mailing lists, and other information Run reports and furnish them to appropriate parties, as neededDocument Control (30%) Assist in peer review quality control process of client correspondence Track agreements/contracts and follow-up as appropriate Maintenance and distribution of policy information to clients Assist with electronic renewalsTeam Underwriting Support (40%) Assist in processing endorsements for exposure changes and coverage line changes in database Assist in preparing new and renewal coverage comparison proposals Assist with renewal coverage and deductible options Enter underwriting information, suspense and follow-up Process cancellation notices for member non-payments Issue Auto ID Cards, Certificates and Evidence of Coverage documents as requested File and maintain electronic records Compile experience rating worksheets Copying, scanning, sorting, assembling and mailing of documents as needed Assist with special projects as needed Other duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to take initiatives and transform ideas and projects into specific workflowsDemonstrated success prioritizing work and multi-task skills in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills to promptly respond to internal and external requestsMust pass required state insurance licensing exam within 6 to 12 monthsContinuing education to obtain professional designations to advance careerWhat You Get:Remote work available; we currently work from home and occasionally return to office for special projectsEmployer-sponsored continuing education to pursue industry license and designationsSolid benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance with robust wellness programsTwo weeks of paid vacation, eleven paid holidays including a floating holiday, a mental wellness day, and opportunity for time off for community serviceUp to 4% 401k match at 100% after one year anniversaryEligible for annual bonus$50k-60k depending on experience
