BeachSports seeks an enthusiastic individual with a nurturing, lively, and imaginative mindset, dedicated to fostering children's creativity through an exciting arts and crafts weekly program. Our ideal candidate will inspire kids to unleash their artistic potential! As a valued member of our team, you will:Design interactive art projects and craft activities tailored for children aged 5-12.Collaborate with the director to create a well-planned and engaging program that captivates campers.Serve as a positive mentor and role model for children.Coordinate with the director to purchase necessary supplies for the program.Have the ability to communicate with families through a warm and respectful demeanor.We're seeking applicants who:Have a genuine passion for working with children through the creation of daily art projects and activities.Bring prior teaching experience to the table. Ideally 2-3 years as a lead teacher.Demonstrate exceptional classroom management abilities, including but not limited to: creating consistent routines, clear rules and expectations, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and the ability to implement positive behavior management strategies through engaging curriculum. Are self-motivated, imaginative, and enthusiastic about shaping an innovative art program.Are willing to provide a portfolio/website/art samples of personal and student artwork that demonstrates knowledge of a range of artistic mediums.Work Schedule and Location:Available 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday, from June 17th to August 9th (*subject to change)The program will take place at our indoor/outdoor space located in El Segundo. $25 Per Hour
