HVAC Technicians work with furnaces as well as thermostats and air conditioning systems to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout a customers home or office building.Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systemsSkills:- Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC/R systems- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC system components- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a van for field service calls- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed- Basic welding and boiler knowledge is a plus- Experience in appliance repair is beneficial
