The ideal candidate is a dedicated and knowledgeable HR professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental and/or area managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.- Oversight of the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.- Assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.- Assists with the implementation of new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.- Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while promoting a positive work culture.- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to address inquiries and resolve issues.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS databases to ensure data integrity and facilitate reporting and analysis.- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in areas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion.- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for employee engagement, retention, and professional development initiatives.- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred.- 3+ years of experience in human resources management experience preferred.- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a complex organizational environment.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.- Commitment to the mission and values of Pathways, with a passion for supporting the well-being of our employees and the individuals we serve.Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.Why Join Pathways?- Opportunity to work for a Best Places to Work in Kentucky, where your contributions are valued and recognized.- Meaningful work that makes a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in our community.- Supportive and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, including paid parental leave and retention bonus.If you are a dedicated HR professional looking to make a difference in the field of behavioral health, we encourage you to apply for the HR Generalist position at Pathways.
