POSITION: HR ADMINISTRATORWe are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic HR Administrator to join our team at COMANCO. We are looking for an individual who can support various HR functions within our organization.The HR Administrator is a professional who is trained in the various aspects of the job adheres to federal and state employment laws. The HR Administrator carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, on-boarding, and employee relations.Job Focus:Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently administered both in the department and companywide.Answer inquiries pertaining to job applications and job openings.Assist with employee onboarding to ensure an effective new hire experience.Assist with booking hotels, flight reservations, and car service for new hires as needed and as requested by Management.Assist in the New Employee Orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals and ensure applicants and employees gain an understanding of the Company Policies & Procedures.Process all pre-employment and new hire documentation accurately and timely.Verify I-9 documentation and perform New Hire Reporting to government entities accurately and timely. Serve as a backup for the E-Verify Program and ensure the Company remains in compliance with all laws applicable to I-9 and E-Verify.Update information in the employee files, scan and retrieve documents from employee files and furnish information to authorized personnel.Assist with collecting all renewal documents including employment authorization and driver's license.Assist with employee benefits, Open Enrollment, Initial Enrollment and Terminations.Responsible for Item Management Tracking in Spectrum; add and retire devices, process and save all Property Forms and provide forms to the managing employee.Responsible for processing employee terminations timely.Assist with scheduling employee training and saving all certifications.Ensure HR forms are organized and updated to ensure forms are readily available.Assist with Blogs for employee anniversaries, new hires, promotions, special events, wellness, and other HR activities in a timely manner.Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.Process and assist in the resolution of employee requests.Work with department managers and communicate proactively to resolve employee concerns and issues.Advise Human Resources Management of existing or potential problem areas.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attend trainings and seminars to stay current of Human Resources laws, legislation, and trends.Enhance the department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership of HR responsibilities and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Assist Management with other duties and tasks, as requested.Front Desk Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as a backup for the front desk and perform all related front desk duties and responsibilities while the receptionist is on break/lunch and when the receptionist is out or unavailable.REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in HR or Benefits Administration.Experience: 3 years or more in Human Resources.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.COMANCO is an Equal Opportunity Employer: minority/female/disability/veteranQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Drug-free Workplace under Federal Law
