Housing Services Coordinator

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing Services Coordinator. As an HSC, you will be responsible for working with tenants and their service providers to assist individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independent living. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex situations.Responsibilities:Act as a liaison between Property Manager and tenants and their service providers.Ensure that quality standards are met.Recruit and screen applicants.Keep tenants informed of new supportive services and social opportunities within the community.Facilitate tenant meetings.Manage and oversee tenant relationships, facilitate conflict resolution, and provide crisis management and intervention when necessary.Monitor quality assurance.Maintain accurate records, reports and statistics.Facilities management (health and safety).Represent BCUW/Madeline at meetings with guardians, providers, potential donors, and other community agencies.Facilitate initial and annual inspections and certifications.Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to expand available services. Facilitate community integration and linkages.Advocate with state and local officials.Maintain current knowledge of policies/regulations that affect the special needs population.Skills:Master Degree in Social Work or a minimum of a 4-year degree in the health or human services with experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities;Knowledge of available community support services and the state system of care;Must be organized, have the ability to multi-task, demonstrate maturity, be team-oriented;And have experience working with individuals and groups.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Salary range begins at $48,500.
