This position outlines the qualifications, certifications, and technical proficiencies expected of contracted X-ray Technologists to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic radiologic services. Compliance with comprehensive training, certification requirements, and technical proficiency is vital to meeting government standards.Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, evidenced by a certificate or an associate degree, accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or from other accrediting agencies as recognized by the Department of Education (DOE).Certification:The contractor's DRTs shall be X-ray Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.Technical Proficiency:Contractor's DRTs shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Contractor shall provide documents upon request of the CO/COR to verify current and ongoing competency, skills, certification and/or licensure related to the provision of care, treatment and/or services performed.Schedule:General X-ray Technologist: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through FridayGeneral X-ray Technologists will work eight-hour shifts with possible start times ranging between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.Contract: 6 months with the possibility of an up to six-month extension of services.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
