Front Office Manager Front Office Manager is the onsite supervisor responsible for the front desk staff, customer service quality, and adhere to fiscal responsibility procedures. Cash handling, POS sales, retail inventory, customer service, problem solving and leadership are all skills used on a daily basis. This position will also be responsible for recruitment, training, discipline and potentially termination of cashier staff. They provide continual feedback to staff members and address patron concerns. They provide support to the Pool Manager by overseeing class registration, monitoring class participation numbers, assisting with swim tests and communicating regarding all patron complaints and concerns. Seasonal, Full-TimeSpring I: Saturday, April 6 - Sunday, April 28, 2024 (Weekends only)12:00 - 5:00 PMSpring II: Tuesday, April 30 - Sunday, June 9, 2024 4:00 - 7:30 PM (Weekdays)12:00 - 5:00 PM (Weekends)Summer: Tuesday, June 11 - Sunday, August 18, 2024 (Closed Mondays)Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PMWeekends: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Fall: Tuesday, August 20 - Sunday, September 29, 20244:00 - 7:30 PM (Weekdays)12:00 - 5:00 PM (Weekends)Pay: $20 + per hour (based on experience and certifications) Responsibilities include:Overseeing and carrying out the daily pool operations and supervision of front desk staff.Managing the cleanliness and maintenance of the front office and adjacent room.Reports directly to the Pool Manager.Exhibits a positive attitude, clearly communicates with members and staff, and provides excellent customer service.Train, motivate, discipline and supervise all front desk staff/cashiers.Coordinate front desk staff schedules, lunch breaks; ensure all shifts are covered and local labor laws are adhered to.Ensures labor budget is within companys restraints.Attends and assists in planning all required staff meetings and in service training..Assists Pool Manager in the management of community aquatics activities and events.Assist with all programming enrollment, print rosters, complete transfers, etc.Maintains party rentals and all functions surrounding those operations.Understand functions of all equipment and train staff on said functions.Maintain inventory of retails items and order as necessary.Other duties as assigned Required Teamwork Skills:Genuine passion in customer serviceStrong communicationLeadership abilitiesCollaborationListeningProblem solvingAbility to provide constructive feedback Professional demeanorPunctualAccountableFlexibleNo personal cell phone use while on dutyAbility to work well with othersTakes direction well and receptive to feedback Positive Attitude Qualifications:Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a High school Diploma or equivalent.2+ year(s) staff management experience.Ability to successfully complete mandated State, Federal, & Local training in addition to training specific to The Swimming Swan LLC. All applicants are subject to background screenings and (when applicable) drug testing.Strong customer service background.Must be self-motivated and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.Ability to effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks.Front Desk Manager reports directly to the Pool Manager.
