Front End Web & Graphic Designer

MVO Marketing is seeking a Word Press front end website & graphic designer with a passion for growth and variety. The candidate will diversify and build an extensive portfolio through work on a variety of creative mediums that spans multiple channels, from brand identity and website development to marketing campaigns and email marketing. We are seeking a dual graphic and web designer who is confident at every stage of the creative process including client meetings, proofing, testing and production. This position is Atlanta-based only.We work in a variety of industries (Real Estate, Multi-Family, B2B, Retail, Technology, and more) with a range of marketing deliverables, including but not limited to WordPress websites, brand identity, multichannel advertising, marketing campaigns, and brand collateral (print and digital).What are the candidates responsibilities?Design marketing campaigns across channels (web, digital, print)Drive brand awareness, equity and loyalty through visually engaging creative materialsEstablish new client brand and style guides, best practices, and standardsEnsure all design deliverables are cohesive with client brand and strategyStay current on industry trends in design philosophy and technologyManage project from start to completionEvaluate project process and results to identify successes and improvement optionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with team members, vendors and clients.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.Web Design: Utilize Elementor to design and develop visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites for clients in various industries.Theme Customization: Customize WordPress themes to meet the unique needs and branding of each client ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experiencePlugin Integration: Integrate and configure relevant plugins to enhance website functionality, such as contact forms, e-commerce solutions, and SEO tools.Troubleshoot and resolve any plugin-related issuesSEO optimization: Implement basic SEO best practices during website development, including optimizing meta tags, creating SEO-friendly URLs, and improving site speedKeep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance skills and deliver cutting-edge solutions.Training and Support: Provide training and documentation to clients on how to manage and update their websites through the WordPress dashboard. Offer ongoing support and guidance as needed.Creative Contribution: Bring innovative design ideas to the table, contributing to the creative process and maintaining a high standard of design excellence.What are the required technical skills?Proven experience as a WordPress web designer and developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.Proficiency in WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, (JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL a plus) and responsive design principlesUnderstanding of UI/UX design and trends in user behaviorAdvanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Acrobat Pro)Understanding of SEO best practices and their application in web development.
