The Position:Do you have prior dealership or tow truck experience? If so, we are hiring a Fleet Technician! You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles and generators. This is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position that reports directly to the VP, Operations.If this sounds like the job for you, please send your resume to [email protected] Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Intermediate knowledge of how to diagnose, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on fleet vehicles and generatorsTrack and schedule outside routine preventative maintenance on all vehiclesCoordinate urgent or emergency repairs as neededEnsure that all company vehicles have the necessary paperwork (registration, insurance, etc.) within each vehicleProcure parts and bring your own specialized tools necessary to perform your jobOperating all warehouse equipment and machineryKeep command of how we utilize our vehicles and understand each vehicle's weight capacitiesEnsure compliance with all company safety rules, policies and proceduresAssisting Warehouse Manager to perform other duties & ad hoc jobs as assigned to achieve company goalsOperate all company vehicles as neededRequirements:Valid drivers license to operate applicable company vehiclesValid CDL (license A) is highly desiredAcceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulationsSamsara or other fleet tracking system experience is highly preferredMechanic experience required, diesel mechanic experience preferredBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth benefitsCompany cell phone401(k) plan with competitive company matchingGenerous holiday and PTO allowancesPaid medical and paternity leave
