Whether its a wound prevention mattress or supplies, a bed frame that supports them, or respiratory supplies, our FSTs are the connection to healing for customers residents and patients.Field Service Technicians are responsible for performing day-to-day activities in his or her area, activities including delivery, pickups, and troubleshooting. care and maintenance of equipment in their warehouse/storage and facilities prompt data reporting of customer orders, equipment movement, equipment data, vehicle and activity information, and incoming purchase orders.Some locations are a one-person operation, so being self-motivated and organized is key to your success. Day, evening, and morning shifts.Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the Field Service Technician (FST) include the following: Monday-Friday daytime hours with some after-hours or weekend deliveries. Travel within the territory as necessary. A company van is provided. Delivery, pick-up, and service of specialty medical equipment and respiratory equipment for skilled nursing facilities in the surrounding area using company-provided cell phone, vehicle, and fuel. Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse. Follow policies and procedures required of the FST position. Promote the companys image, products, and services always.Qualifications/SkillsThe Field Service Technician possesses the following qualifications and skills: Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Must be 21 years or older. Six months experience driving a 10 cargo van or similar. MVR must be free of major violations. MVR must not have more than two minor violations. Understanding of basic office applications, including Office Experience with mobile devices and apps Ability to work independently and productively without close supervision. Flexible schedule for on-call hours, overtime, and emergencies. Professional appearance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized and punctual. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.Additional NotesThe Field Service Technician is a critical part of the MediLogix IT Team.
