Youll be the face of Allstate Computers, embodying our core values in every interaction and service call.Responsibilities:Perform installations, service, repairs, and maintenance on computers, servers, phones, and network equipment at customer locations and in our tech lab.Provide technical support to clients both on-site and remotely via phone or email.Configure network equipment (firewalls, switches, wireless access points) according to specifications provided by one of our engineers.Occasionally run and manage network cabling tasks, including re-termination and installation of cables, mounting equipment to walls, ceilings, or racks.Ensure all services are performed to the highest standards, reflecting well on our company's commitment to excellence.Embrace opportunities for professional growth and skills improvement, contributing to our culture of continuous learning and advancement.For more complex issues that arise, collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to devise, and implement effective solutions, maintaining our high standard of service and technical excellence.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent certification1 2 years of experience as an IT technician, field service technician, or similar role.A willingness to constantly learn and improve skillsExperience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systemsExperience with IP networkingStrong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, other tech products, and network configurationsExcellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer service skillsA clean and valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client locations using our company van.Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and user-friendly language.Preferred Skills:Experience working in fast paced MSP environmentsExperience with server operating systemsExperience with Apple/Mac devicesExperience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)Experience with HIPAA or other similar regulatory complianceCompensation:We value our team members and their contributions to our success, which is why we offer a competitive compensation package for the IT Field Service Technician role. The starting salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 per year (not including bonuses), based on your skills and experience. In addition to financial compensation, we provide one week of paid time off (PTO) following your first 90 days with us and two weeks of paid vacation after completing your first year.
