Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Field Sales Representative. Melograno Sales Representatives are responsible for growing the company portfolio with a mixture of On Premise and Off Premise accounts, as well as engaging consumers through point of sale and shelf assortment at retail accounts and sponsored events.In addition, a Sales Relief Representative identifies new markets and business opportunities to increase market share while building and maintain relationships with accounts and retailers.The Field Sales Representative will identify potential customers, build relationships with them, present our products, work with distributor(s) to close sales. Additionally, the Field Sales Representative will provide ongoing support to existing customers, monitor market trends, and gather customer feedback. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Visit assigned retail accounts to sell volume, increase distribution, monitor price and shelf space managementWork closely with distributor to coordinate new accountsIncrease shelf space and position for Melograno productsParticipate in new product launch events including tastings and sponsored events.Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history and reportsAttend sales meetings to discuss sales issues, competitive activities, and opportunities to maximize sales effortsRepresent Melograno through promotions and company tastings/events. QualificationsMust be 21 years of age and have a valid drivers licenseAbility and willingness to work flexible hoursStrong Communication and Negotiation SkillsStrong customer service skills and ability to grow and manage customer relationshipsAbility to move products, hang merchandise and fulfill other physical requirements including: repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing.Sales and Business Development skillsAbility to build and maintain customer relationshipsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a teamExperience in the beverage or alcohol industryBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
