You describe yourself as more of a lone ranger - preferring to work alone and separately, without collaborative accountability and teamwork. Your career goals are more toward running your own practice or being in solo practice. Its ok if this is you! It just means we may not be the right place for you. Our efforts are to invest in our teams and provide growth opportunities within Higher Ground. Our ideal candidate is looking for a longer-term career fit and workplace to invest and grow within. You are self-motivated and driven to be the best therapist you can be - ever growing professionally and to have the heart of a learner. You believe like the rest of our team in hard work, personal accountability, and being a humble servant for our clients and families.About UsHigher Ground Counseling is a community-based group practice that started with a mission to serve youth and families affected by sexual abuse. Our aim is to mitigate further risks to the community while reuniting families where separation has occurred due to inappropriate sexual behaviors. We are a unique clinic in that we offer therapy services for all who have been impacted by sexual abuse - survivors of abuse, perpetrators of abuse, parents, siblings and extended families. Our work can be heavy and we have therefore sought to create a fun and supportive environment as we know that the impact of our group is only as great as the health of our people. We are aware of therapist burnout and being overwhelmed with client load and we strive to mitigate this as best we can. Our group values humble service to the community and most of us started professionally in case management, residential treatment, basic caregiving, and other valuable but underpaid jobs. Beyond compensation we offer substantial training opportunities, supervision, and growth opportunities for our employees. This job opportunity is part of a larger goal of our group - to build up the next generation of therapists and helpers to fight the darkness of sexual abuse and its effects. If you join us, know that you are joining a team that is committed to being leaders in the field of problematic sexual abuse treatment, sexual abuse recovery, and trauma therapy - our ultimate mission is bigger than our collective group and is one that will hopefully live on for years to come.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $77,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork setting:In-personOutpatientPrivate practiceEducation:Master's (Required)Experience:Child counseling: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:LPC/LMFT/LCSW or license eligible within 2 years Work Location: In person
