Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Steel Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications will be crucial in producing accurate and precise drawings. If you have a strong background in drafting and are proficient in CAD software, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architectsCollaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and objectivesUtilize CAD software to produce 2D and 3D drawingsReview and revise drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback from team membersEnsure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulationsPrepare documentation such as bills of materials, parts lists, and assembly instructionsAssist in the development of Steel design concepts and solutionsMaintain accurate records of all drawings and related documentsSkills:Proficiency in CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Sketchup, NavisWorks, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStationStrong understanding of mechanical design principlesAbility to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawingsKnowledge of building codes and regulationsFamiliarity with schematic diagrams and electrical layoutsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenWe offer competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.
