Door Installer

Pay: $20- $35 per hour depending on experienceEmployment type: full-timeJob title: Door Installers and Service TechniciansJohnson & Johnson Overhead Door is now hiring commercial and residential garage door service techs and installers. Prefer experienced but not necessary if hardworking with a great attitude about learning the trade. The ideal candidate would like a long-term position within the company. This is a small owner-operator company looking to add 1-2 employees.Description of Essential job functions:Load and unload trucks.Must be able to lift greater than 50 lbs easily and up to 90 lbs at times.Safely use ladders and liftsSafely drive to and from job sites with a clean driving record.Be able to communicate with employees and clients regarding their door needs, must be personable.Okay with traveling to and from job sites (in company vehicle) locations vary from Tacoma to Longview and Morton to the coastInstallation of various doors and openers.Materials are to be installed on job sites and customer locations. Carpentry skills utilized to frame and install doors.Physical requirements include:All types of movement while installing or carrying doors and hardware to and from the job site.Work in varying temperatures year-round.Being able to lift greater than 50 lbs routinely throughout the workday.Desired Qualifications:Experience in construction and residential/commercial door installation.Great customer service skillsPositive attitude, along with being a team player.Required for the position:Current Washington drivers license.Must be drug-free.Must have a safe and incident-free driving record.Must be English literate.Must have experience using hand and power tools, and installation equipment.Must be able to lift 65 to 85 lbs. regularly throughout a 10-hour workday.Must have strong customer service skillsMust be well organized with clean work habits and well-kept appearance.Must have good references and contacts from previous or current jobs.Benefits:Work year-round.
