Early Childhood Academy is seeking a Director for our private Childcare Center in Belle Plaine, MN. This position will ensure adherence to our Vision of bringing the best and most trusted in early childhood education and child care services to the families we serve. We are seeking an energetic, organized, problem-solving individual with excellent communication skills. This individual must be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the next generation's success. Qualifications:1-3 years of Director or Assistant Director experience in a licensed childcare facility3-5 years of Early Childcare Teacher experience in a licensed Childcare CenterStrong expertise in state licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment, and budget managementDemonstrated highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsDemonstrated responsibilities in overseeing all preschool operations, including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operationsStrong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the communityPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or in a related field Responsibilities:Knowledge, understanding, and ability to follow and implement the Academy's vision and mission each day Overall responsibilities for managing and overseeing all aspects of the Academy, including health and safety, enrollment and financial wellness, staffing, training and retention, site management, and delivery of high-quality education and careMaintain strong relationships with our families, staff, students, and vendorsManage budgets/forecasts, licensing, and marketing initiativesCultivate and maintain a safe and enjoyable culture while working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform all essential functions for each position in the Academy, including, but not limited to, other Leadership Team positions, Teacher, Food Service, etc.Maintain compliance with Minnesota's Department of Human Services Early Child Care Center laws, policies, and requirements (Rule 3)Knowledge of child safety requirements and be up-to-date on first aid and other medical conditions, and meet monthly with Health Consultant Demonstrate excellent communication skills, showing confidence in speaking with and taking prospective parents on tour, writing newsletters, and running staff meetings Strong crisis management abilities to remain calm and composed in a crisis Keep staff motivated and resolve conflicts professionally, fairly, and with Early Childhood Academys vision and mission.Oversee payroll, ACH and tuition billing, county pay, and scholarshipsEnsure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for childrenManage and coordinate curricula with staff that complies with state and federal requirements in and Parent Aware accreditation standardsEnsure that grounds and facility are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations and regular maintenance and upkeep is completed Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and suppliesManage and support teaching staff and promote their professional developmentInterview, hire, and on-board new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements Establish yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily checklists for all areas of operations, including finances, student/family enrollments and onboarding, Staff documentation/reviews scheduling, Classroom management and requirements, Kitchen duties/inventory, and general Academy meetings, drills, marketing, and guidelines.Complete ongoing training and courses to remain current on MN childcare standards and procedures.Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the Academy's policies.Work in collaboration with the Executives to manage and oversee the budget and accounts.Facilitate and execute the marketing and communications planSupervise and oversee all staffImplement professional development for employees and run staff meetingsCommunicate and enforce all policies and procedures as related to parent and staff handbooks and DHS licensing Provide effective, professional, timely, and positive communication with parents and childrenWork in collaboration with the ECA administration team and delegate operational duties as deemed appropriate Meet with the Executive Team on a regularly scheduled basis and implement action steps Initiate National, State, and County programs to support growth, financial reimbursement, and overall accreditation for the Center (ex: Parent Aware, NAYCE, CACFP, etc.)Attend National and State conferences and workshops as appointed by the President/OwnerReports to: CEO and President (executives) of Early Childhood AcademySalary: Financial packages to be determined based on experience
