Our practice takes pride in providing excellent dental work and outstanding customer service, focusing on patients' true needs and delivering an exceptional patient experience.We provide:Excellent tools and technology such as the Itero scanner.A full schedule as we are a well-established practice.A flexible work environment that accommodates your individual needs and situationsWe do employee lunches, birthdays, and events to create synergy and a fun workplace.Schedule: 8-hour shift (with a one-hour lunch)Monday - Thursday 7:10am - 3:30pm.Work Location: In personCOVID-19 considerations: We have level 3 masks.License/Certification: EFDA (required)Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 28 32 per week Duties:Assist the dentist during dental proceduresPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instrumentsTake and develop dental x-raysPrepare and maintain dental equipment and suppliesEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsSchedule patient appointments and manage patient recordsPerform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crownsAdjust partials, dentures, night guardsExperience:Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferredFamiliarity with DentrixAbility to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessmentsKnowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulationsExperience assisting with various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, crown & bridge, impressions. Implant experience is not required but strongly recommended.Familiarity with Dentrix, Open Dental, or other dental practice management systemsBasic understanding of medical imaging techniquesAs a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment procedures.
