WE'RE HIRING DELIVERY DRIVERSPosition Type: Part TimeLocation: Cleveland, OH Pomp is searching for a part-time Delivery Driver to join our fast-growing company. Youre the first and last in-person contact our team has with our clients. Its essential that youre friendly, helpful, attentive, detail oriented and quick to problem solve. The main job is to work cohesively with other team members to efficiently, effectively and safely deliver and pick up event rentals on site. This person must be thoughtful in accomplishing tasks, anticipate the needs of clients and maintain the integrity of Pomp. Must be reliable, punctual and have a GREAT personality! HIGH LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES- Receive and follow directions from Warehouse Lead- Work efficiently to ensure the project is set up and picked up within scheduled time.- Review and follow project orders (pull sheets, layout, renderings) to ensure successful completion of event installation.- Able to drive a box truck.- Work with other crew members to efficiently and safely clean, load, and unload trucks with inventory.- Inspect all inventory upon pick up for any stains, damage, breakage, or missing pieces and communicate to warehouse manager.- Assist in monitoring quality of inventory and maintaining the highest quality standards.- Complete warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse manager. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS- A shared passion for making people happy!- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs)- Strong and clear communication skills- Customer service focused- Flexible-not easily frustrated by changes or indecisiveness from others. - Have respect for each employee of Pomp- Punctual and dependable- Valid OH drivers license and clean driving record- Ability to pass a background check with flying colors- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment- Flexible schedule including nights and weekends (late night pick-ups during busy season June-Oct).
